Although the Call for Submissions for EurOMA 2013 Dublin closed in January, Authors whose abstracts have been reviewed and accepted for presentation at the conference (as per decision notifications circulated at the end of February) are invited to submit their final full paper until 8th April 2013. [ATTENTION: For papers to be included in the EurOMA 2013 programme, book of abstracts, and proceedings, at least one author of the final paper must be fully registered for the Dublin conference on or before the early-bird deadline of 8th April 2013.]
Theme & Scope
The EurOMA 2013 Conference theme is Operations Management: At the Heart of the Recovery. The main motivation is to reinforce the message that operations management has a central role to play in economic recovery. Growth and development will require new and innovative approaches to customer service, productivity and improvement through key decisions in areas including supply network design, capacity management, process technology implementation, product and service development. Correspondingly, there are new and innovative ways in which operations management researchers can inquire into and intervene in the many choices available to both commercial and public organisations and to their managers.
